Frank Sokol, a long-time resident of Santa Clara passed away peacefully at the age of 96. He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes and son Jack. He is survived by his daughter Arline, daughter in law Delia, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He lived to see and enjoy five generations. He grew up in Chicago IL, married Agnes Homan and had two children, Arline and Jack. He worked at Rock Island Railroad as Assistant Chief Chemist. He and his wife, Agnes moved to California in 1967 to Co-own EXSL, producer of detergent and cleaning solutions. He retired from EXSL in 1988. After retiring, he enjoyed politics and became a deputy sheriff. He lived life to its fullest traveling and dancing. He was an active member of St. Justin Church, Elks Club, Moose Lodge, Italian American Club and local senior centers. He always had a great smile for everyone. He will be missed by all.
