George Alfinito, 93, of Campbell, CA, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2014. He was married to his loving wife, Madeline, of 67 years, who predeceased him in 2010. He is survived by his children Geraldine Bishop of Sunnyvale, CA, Beverly Egan of Las Vegas, NV, George Alfinito Jr. of San Jose, CA, Richard Alfinito and his wife Pam, of San Jose, CA; grandfather of six, great-grandfather of 10 and his brother Rudolph Alfinito of Los Altos Hills, CA. George was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all. SSGT Alfinito was a WWII veteran and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1945. Friends and family are invited to a Visitation on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara, California, 95050 where the Funeral Service will also be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
