Geraldine Janet Ann Teresi

On September 8, 1927, Geraldine Janet Teresi was born to Clara L. and Joseph A. Teresi on the Sorosis ranch in Saratoga, California. Gerrie, as she was commonly known, was the third of the four Teresi children (Joseph, Marianne, and Robert) and attended Saratoga Grammar School and Los Gatos High School. In adulthood, Gerrie entered the workforce spending time in retail, dentistry, and medical business offices. The 20 years she spent at Wells Fargo Bank proved to be her longest and most personally rewarding employment as she often shared memories about her customers and her “time at the bank” with fondness. Gerrie retired in the early 1980s to care for her aging parents, and, after their passings, became involved in charity work around the valley. For more than a decade, Gerrie held different positions on the executive boards of the Marillac League Auxiliary and the Hospice of the Valley Service League.

During her life, Gerrie found joy in documenting family life, taking hundreds of photographs and curating treasured photo albums. She travelled as much as she could, frequenting Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas and exploring the world as far as Hawaii, Mexico and Spain. She loved gardening, cats, and chocolate almost as much as holidays and family. From caring for her parents to keeping tabs on her nieces and nephews, Gerrie demonstrated a deep commitment to her family. She will be remembered by her brother Robert and his wife Donna (Los Gatos, CA); nieces Gerrie Ann Bannister (Teresi) and Kelly Horan (Teresi); nephews Carlo Pellegrini, Ron Pellegrini, Joe Teresi, Matthew Teresi and Todd Teresi and their many children and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Clara Teresi; her older brother Dr. Joseph Teresi (Milwaukee, WI) and older sister Marianne Pellegrini; and her nephews Marc Pellegrini and Dr. Louis Teresi.
