I love my Uncle Austin. Though I really only got to see him a few times through out my life, all my memories are of laughter, love and big hugs. The last time I saw him was at dad's passing. His presence lit up the room for me, as he gave me the biggest hug I may have ever received, and sat down in Dad's chair and started telling stories, as only he could. It brought back a little bit of my dad, his big brother, to my heart. Over the years I got wonderful sweet encouraging notes and phone messages from Uncle Austin and Aunt Peggy during difficult times in my family's life. It meant so much to me. I am so sorry for his passing but will always cherish that he was and always will be my Uncle Austin. I know in heaven I will recognize him as he will have the biggest smile, and the biggest hug in the receiving line. I am sure the Malones are having a grand time up there!!

Uncle Austin could tell stories better than anyone on the planet and get everyone laughing, His heart was so tender and he definately loved his family,he was a such a fun guy to be around.I am looking forward to that big family reunion with Jesus as the host:) love to all ,MIke and Mary Malone

Our thoughts and prayers are with our California family at this time.  Uncle Austin was a great man.  We'll always remember him laughing as he told the story about Paul threatening to hit his mama with a stick . . . tomorrow!  He told that story over and over. I have nothing but fond memories of my Uncle Austin, I called him, Son. His laugh, his tenderness and his love for his family, will always be with me and I know it will be with everyone that knew him. I'll miss him. My love to all. God Bless...

I will always carry the love of my brother in my heart.  He was always laughing, and was the life of the party wherever he was.  I know there is a grand party going on in heaven right now.  My heart is very heavy at his passing, but I will see him again in heaven where there will never be a distance or anything else that will separate us from those we love.  May God comfort each of you as only He can in this time of great need.  Ron & Judy

I pray when your hearts are heavy that you remember the wonderful, loving, humorous person your husband, father and grandfather was. I am honored to have had the opportunity to know Austin. You now have an angel working for you from the other side. Keep your ears open, I promise you will hear him. Know that one day you will see him again. Rest in Peace Austin.

What a great story teller and larger than life character he was.  He will be sorely missed. Bigger than life you still are Daddy!  "Well how are you Juniper?" you would always ask and you always had a big ol' smile on your face with something funny to always make me laugh.
