On July 6th 2020, heaven gained another angel when James Narvaes passed away from complications of Alzheimer/Dementia. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Benita Narvaes, his four daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. James was born in Oklahoma, raised in Texas and Chicago, then settled down in California. He worked for Peterbilt Motor Company for many years, followed by San Jose Unified School District, and ending his work years at Ruskin Elementary at Berryessa School District. He took pride in his work ethic and always went above and beyond to get the job done. These were key foundations to who he was. His hobbies were baseball, golf, BBQing, gardening, watching old school shows like Walker Texas Ranger, and spending time with his family and friends.
James will be remembered by his infectious smile and giving heart by those who knew him. His beautiful smile and kindness shined through in a way that made people feel comforted. He was always willing to help others in any way that he could. He stayed eager to offer his appreciation and gratitude to those around him. His main goal in life was to have a family and he felt blessed to have been given that. As we will not be able to see him anymore, we will remember and honor him by staying strong while keeping him close in our hearts. He will be deeply missed by everyone and will be our forever guardian angel. Until we are all reunited with you again, play ball, barbeque those ribs, and we will see you at the 18th hole.
