Born in La Puente, Los Angeles, in September 1935. His family took trips to Santa Clara to pick prunes, they later moved to San Jose, and eventually settled in Santa Clara. He then attended Santa Clara High School, where he played football and wrestling and was awarded a bronze medal. He graduated in 1954, then went to serve 2 years in the National Guard, 4 years in the Air Force, and finally the reserves. After, he worked for the city of Santa Clara, retiring 37 years later. He enjoyed camping, traveling, partying, music, cruising, going to casinos, and dancing with his wife, children, and visiting his grandchildren. Taking them to many places all while becoming a man of many traits, Including his growing love for his dog, Sheba.
