Our deepest condolences to the Cabrera Family during this critical time. I will miss his contagious smile. Joe is an inspiration for us all. The barriers Joe conquered paved the way for the Latino community. Joe was a very intelligent investor and a successful business man. Joe successfully owned and managed a painting company for over 35 years. It was an honor to have met this kind and loving man. May he rest in peace.

Thank you for the time you spent mentoring us and bringing the family together. Your joy for life, parties, and celebrations will always be a fond memory for me and my family. 

Years ago, I remember going to visit Santa Row with cousin Joe in  San Jose and the second we entered into the restaurant it was like I walked in with a Hollywood Star! All the waitresses and the staff were smiling and greeting him. They knew him by name and he just lit up the room with fun and joy. 

I also remember attending a family reunion that he hosted with a real live mariachi band y todo! The music, laughter and fun was a warm memory that I will always love. 

Cousin Joe, even was a  family mentor to my dad who was a rebellious youth in his younger years. Cousin Joe gave him a glimpse of life in the entrepreneur world showing him that he can put in hard work and reap great rewards. 
Praise the Lord for the wonderful life and legacy he led. 
May the lord comfort our family at this time.

Joe and I met in the early 80s when I worked for National Semiconductor.  We became close friends over the next 40 years.  We were  actually more than friends…I loved Joe as a brother and together we muddled through many of life’s challenges and successes.  I will truly miss him!

Joe was the epitome of the self made man. He worked hard, provided professional service and earned the love and respect of all who knew him.
He was loved and admired by his wife, children and grandchildren. he is the last of the Dads (compadres Oscar Acosta and Bill Barrett) May they all rest in peace.
