

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, and friend, Lazaro Maure. We are also celebrating his life that will continue to live through memories and our hearts, knowing that he will no longer be suffering but rather is rejoicing in heaven as he now is in peace and rest.
Lazaro was loving, caring and always willing to help anyone that needed it. He loved working on cars, watching movies, his coffee, eating and most of all, his family.
Lazaro was born in Habana, Cuba on December 17th, 1937 and passed away on September 26th, 2025. Lazaro was 87 years old.
Lazaro resided in Santa Clara County and passed in San Jose, California.
Lazaro’s death was preceded by his father Domingo Maure, his mother Julia Serrano, and his grandson Eric Elijah Maure.
Lazaro is survived by his ex-wife, mother of his children and longlife friend, Raquel Carranza. Lazaro is also survived by his children, Sergio Oliveros, Arturo Oliveros, Eric Maure, Rebecca Maure-Pagan, Rachel Hernandez. Lazaro is survived by his son-in-law William Pagan and daughter-in-law Rosa Maure. Lazaro is also survived by his granddaughter Cynthia Maure, grandsons’, Jaime Miguel Delgado, Erik Dominic Delgado, Nicholas Isaias Delgado, great grandson, Dominic Delgado and great grandson and great granddaughter, children of his granddaughter Cynthia Maure.
Lazaro is also survived by many more grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
Lazaro had his best little fur baby buddy who he loved and cherished, Bella. She was always by his side and loved him dearly too.
He worked in a variety of places in Santa Clara and San Jose, one of them being the Fiberglass Factory.
He will always be remembered for the help that he did alongside our mother in the 1980’s helping Cuban refugees from a variety of different places, providing care, housing, and transportation.
We couldn’t have asked for a better father, grandfather and friend. He will forever live in our hearts.
