Lee passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 8, 2022, with his loving wife of 65 years, Mary "Dolores", at his bedside. He is also survived by his much-loved children, Mary Reiland (Peter, deceased) and David Wriglesworth (Cindy). He was so very proud of his grandsons, Kyle Wriglesworth (Alecia) and Adam Wriglesworth (Brittany). Lee adored his four beautiful great grandchildren, Madelyn, James, Thea, and Hannah. And honorary granddaughter Isabella.
In 1956 while serving in the U.S. Army, Lee was awarded the "Soldiers Medal for Heroism" for extracting a passenger from the wreckage of a plane crash, he was also injured and spent six months in the hospital. There were no other survivors.
Lee retired from California Water Service Company in 2003 after 22 years of service. After retirement, Lee, Dolores, and Henry Andrade (brother-in-law) enjoyed traveling, never missing an Indian casino. They often traveled to Oregon and Washinton to visit Lee's brother Jim Wriglesworth (Luana) and cousin John Wriglesworth (Beth).
Lee was a member of SIR Branch 62 in Sunnyvale for many years. Bowling with his fellow SIRs was his passion.
Lee's family thanks his caregivers Teresa, Rosy, and Jo for their loving kindness to "Mr. Lee," for the last three months of his life along with many thanks to his Hospice Nurses Letty and Aurora.
