Lydia Woods

She married Matthew Woods later in life and they enjoyed a happy marriage until his death.

Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, Estanislao Cuenca and Paula Espinoza Cuenca. She came from a large family and her siblings who also preceded her was her Sister Esther Cuenca Oropeza (Jose), Frank Cuenca (Sophia), Rebecca Cuenca Verdugo (Phil), David Cuenca (Toni), Eleazar Cuenca (Carmen), Ruben Cuenca (Dorothy), Naomi Cuenca Vercelles (Fred), and Sara Cuca Carillo (Cary).

Her surviving siblings include Sammy Cuenca (spouse Vickie deceased), Dora Cuenca Siqueiros (Spouse Roy, Deceased) and Martha Cuenca Retzel (Marquez). Along with numerous (great and great great) nieces and nephews. As well as her step children.

Lydia was an intelligent woman who completed her Master’s degree from San Jose State in Mexican-American Studies.

Final resting place will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Francisco. Memories and remembrances can be posted online.
