Mary P. Ferreira

Resident of Santa Clara

Passed away peacefully in her home on June 24, 2010 at the age of 74.

Mary was born on the island of Pico in the Azores Islands of Portugal on June 18, 1936 to Manuel S. Elias and Maria S. Elias. Mary graduated from Santa Clara High School, and received her AA Degree from Mission College. She was married to Art Ferreira, they celebrated their 43rd anniversary last week.

Mary was an avid reader, loved to cook, passionate in her Catholic faith, a loving wife, an amazing mother, and an adorable nana. Mary was deeply loved.

Mary was survived by her mother Maria Elias of Santa Clara, her husband Art Ferreira of Santa Clara, son Kirk Kull and daughter in law Jessica Viso-Kull of Santa Clara, daughter Terri and son-in-law Michael Fox of Los Altos, daughter Debbie and son-in-law Mark Blackwell of San Jose, and her three grandsons Travis Kull, Vincent Kull, and Erich Kull.

Visitation begins Monday, June 28th at 4:00PM, Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. in Santa Clara. Following visitation there will be a Rosary in her memory at 7:00PM. Her funeral will be Tuesday, June 29th at 10:00AM, St. Martin of Tours Church, 200 O'Connor Blvd. in San Jose. All are welcome to join us. In liu of flowers a donation to breast cancer research would be appreciated.
