

It is with sorrowful sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Jesse Trujillo, A dedicated wife, kind and loving mother, cherished grandma, great-great grandma and great great-great grandma. She lived a life filled with joy, love, and unwavering dedication to God, her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of a beautiful family. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, 6 children, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was always keeping in touch. Whether it was making phone calls, writing letters or cards. She was brave, well articulated, forgiving, kind and loving. There are so many positive things to say. She was very involved with volunteering with the Sunnyvale community. Her unwavering faith and involvement in the Catholic Church. She raised other babies, who are now adults, from her many years of running a home daycare business. They would send her Christmas cards with updated photos. After her long day of work she attended courses to finish her Associate of Arts in Child Development.
Mary, by Gods grace overcame many challenges with health. A survivor of breast cancer , aneurysm and lastly was a fighter through the last year battling cancer and congestive heart failure. God gave us the opportunity to care for her as she had done with so many for so many years. We are grateful to have the time to tell her how much we loved her and how blessed we were that God gave us such a beautiful soul in our lives. Then
God said it was time for this powerful wise soul to be in loving arms of Jesus in Heaven. And, we will forever have her in our hearts.
A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary beginning at 6:00PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. A Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St Cyprian Church, 195 Leota Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94086. Interment immediately following at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
