

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gloria and their loving son, John and beloved daughter-in-law, Melissa. He is also survived by his sister, Frances Silva, and brother-in-law Albert Silva and his sister-in-law Gina Peacock. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A lifelong resident of San Jose, he attended Willow Glen Elementary, Willow Glen High School, graduating from Cupertino High School and Heald's Business College.
After serving in the U.S. Army, Bob entered the business world. After taking an early retirement from Intel after 25 years, he was able to pursue his goal of bowling on the National Professional Bowlers Tour. Joining the Senior Professional Bowlers Tour, he and his wife enjoyed traveling the country for several years, meeting and forming lifelong friendships along the way. Touring allowed him to successfully combine his love of bowling and his love of golf.
Known for his dry sense of humor, shy smile, and candid remarks, Bob left his family, friends, golf buddies and bowling buddies with many memorable moments to remember.
Inurnment will be held April 6, 2022 at 11AM at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Lima Family Mortuary, Santa Clara, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled Veterans Association.
