Rose Elena Rodriguez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Rose Elena (Macias) Rodriguez who departed this world peacefully on March 1, 2025 at the age of 82 of Milpitas, CA. She has now reunited with her cherished husband, Juan Jose Rodriguez with whom she shared forty-three wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2012.

Rose was a devoted mother to her daughters, Sonia Ocampo, Christina Rodriguez and Veronica Bejines. A loving mother-in-law to her sons-in-law, David Ocampo and Luis Bejines. She embraced her role as a grandmother with immense joy to Yazmine and Mateo Ocampo, Andrew and Boutaina Rodriguez, Emilio and Diego Siqueiros, Louis, Dario and Bianca Bejines. Her love extended to her great-grandson, Idris Rodriguez who brought her endless delight.

Born in Juarez, Chihuahua to Napoleon and Margarita Macias. Rose was a loving sister to Margarita Macias and is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Yolanda Macias, her brothers Oscar Macias and Napoleon Macias.

Rose's journey began at San Jose High School where she graduated in 1962. Her career path was diverse and fulfilling. She started as a hairstylist then a restaurant owner in Morgan Hill. She culminated in a 21-year tenure at Intel Corporation from which she retired in 2001.

Family was the cornerstone of Rose's life. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandson were always at the forefront of her thoughts and actions. She will be remembered for her timeless beauty, sweet personality, her cooking and her unwavering support, wisdom and love she offered to those around her.

Rose leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will remain in our hearts forever. She will never be forgotten.
