Sal died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his sons Javier, (Melinda), Rene (Gail), Orlando, Arturo and sweetheart Dolores. Brother to Lillian, Raymond, Henry and Jessie. Grandfather to Angela, Phillip, Michele, Javier Jr., Jessica, Sarah, Anna, Natalie and Nickolas. Great Grandfather to Mikah, Monica, Isabel, Melissa, Jaime Jr., Noah, Jonah, Mateo, Zack and Izzi. Pre deceased by his wife Hortencia, son Armando, daughter-in-law Sheryl and siblings Gilbert and Elvera, parents Angelita and Porfirio.
Sal worked at FMC and raised his family in the San Jose area, yet always remembered his roots in East Highlands, CA. "El Ranchito". He loyally stayed in touch with all his family. Sal loved his music and spent many years in church choir and played in a Trio. A devoted family man who touched so many different lives with his genuine good nature Sal will be missed by all of us.
Visitation will be held Monday, Jan.27 at 5pm and Rosary 7pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary. Funeral Mass celebration on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 11am at St. Clare's Catholic Church.
