Our beloved father, Tai Ung Lee, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Hee Ja Lee. He also leaves behind his two daughters, Hatty Lin and Helen Lee, son, Scott Lee, son-in-law, Haidang Lin, and three grandchildren, Malcolm, Marcus and Miles.
Tai was born in Seoul, South Korea on April 22, 1944. In 1970, Tai immigrated to Argentina. He worked hard and made a life for himself in Argentina. Then in 1974, he moved to San Jose, CA. There, he met his wife, Hee Ja. They got married August 31, 1974 and moved to Mt. View. After having children, they moved to San Jose where Tai lived until his passing.
He was a caring and devoted father and grandfather. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, strong work ethic and fun personality.
A memorial service for Tai will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
