Good afternoon: God is good
Today we gather as a witness to God's glory in the memory of Trisha's life.

With Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for being here today to pay tribute to our daughter. Losing a child is a parent's worst nightmare and I cannot put into words the grief that my wife and I are feeling. Parents are not supposed to bury their children, the old are not supposed to stand beside the graves of the young. It is unnatural. One is not prepared for it.

But the love, prayers and support that we have received from all of our family, friends, colleagues and my daughter's friend has helped significantly in getting us through this difficult time. To the doctors and nurses that gave it all and not giving up on her, gave us some peace that they fought along side with her.
Trisha was our only girl in the family; She was an angel and a gift from heaven. Like most father's I was worried if I was ready to be a father to her and for what was to come ahead.

I was very protective most of the time over her and wanted to make sure she has a happy and safe childhood. I know at times we don't see eye to eye on some things, but all I cared about was making her a better person and keeping her safe. 
Having a daughter also taught me a lot about myself. Trisha showed me how the things in life that used to cause me stress were unimportant. There is nothing more important than family and the love of a child. My wife and I were so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter in our lives.

I always wanted Trish to be safe and thought that I could protect her from everything. However, when she was diagnosed with cancer it was difficult for me specially to her mom to take because it was out of our control. All we could do was provide her comfort and pray that she could overcome this terrible disease. After a long battle she did win the battle against cancer but buckle under on one of her chemo drugs.

During this week, some of our family, friends, most specially my daughter's friend have come to our home, to the hospital to show their love for us and for trisha. I have been especially moved by the fact that so many of her friends have shown up and cried with us. I am also touched by the love of her friends had for her. Our memories of this sad time in our lives will therefore not be bad.

Trisha 1987 (the year she was born) – 2013, 25 wonderful years, let me share a few with you some of her Dash* for the dash represent all the time you spent alive on earth and now only those who loved you know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own or have, what matter is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. “We don't remember days; we remember moments.” These moments, if we stop long enough to enjoy, are the essence of life.
? Trisha had a voice that was a gift from God. She love to sing and write.
? Trisha love spending time with her Jarlego family from Lolo, lola, her uncles and unties, cousins, and her brother. Most of all her Mom.
? I know one of her greatest moments is during her journey outside home; she met so many wonderful people – her friends (and now they are our friends and part of our family). They do have special bond for each other and I am envious of that. I am very grateful for your love and support and true friendship to trisha.
? There are so many moments to mentions, I will cherish them all and I will surely miss you.

On Dec 27, 2012, she wrote me a note and it says “ Take care of Mom”, and I answered her initially with a NO and followed by a claim that it will be you and me who will take care of your mom. I did not realize that this was her last note before she was put into life support and not wake up. Now I guess you have left me with that responsibility, and I assure you and promise that I will keep that promise and we will grow old together, so go in peace my daughter. I love you and we will miss you, Trisha. Your at home with Jesus

'you are my sunshine' is what i used to (try) to sing to your nephew twins when they were in the nicu. i've been playing your version of it to them for several days and no doubt that your angelic voice has impacted them. i never had a chance to tell you how proud i was to have you as my sister. i tell you all the time and pray that you can hear me. you will always have a solid and deep space in my heart. i know what a phenomenal spirit you were.  deep love to you my little sister.

God watched Trish through all of her struggles here on earth and understood everything about her.
God saw Trish as one of his children,Loves her and is proud andhappy with her.
God gave us a glimpse of an angel.
Her sweet quiet persona and her amazing voice will forever be in my memories.
the last couple of years Trish cherised her time being surrounded by a community of friends who honestly love her for exactly who she was,They nourished her spirit and gave her the strength to go after her dreams.
The same day Trish left us a sweet little baby boy named Rex died.I can see Trish with her sweet calming voice singing the most comforting lullabie for Rex to relax and go into his beautiful peaceful slumber and took him to Heaven with her to carry him to the loving arms of his loving Aunt Sherry,Thats the kind of thing Trish would do.We never know when we are in the midst of an angel until they leave,Trish was ours.

Dear Trisha,
It was great knowing you with all of my heart to be a great friend. It's amazing to have so much memories with a lot of smiles,laughs, and great time together and hearing you singing all of my life as much I hear from you. I love you and miss you with all of my heart.  Now you in heaven as becoming a beautiful angel and sing all you want to do with your life. God is with you now with all of his blessing to take good care of you.  See you in heaven someday.

What an all around beautiful talented woman and soul you are. and even though I never met you Here on this earth one day I will in heaven. Until then Trisha may your music bless heaven as much as it did earth!

I'm so sorry your life was way too short here.. But now you have eternal life ... A life of no pain, no suffering .. A place as beautiful as your face where you can sing all day. You are a very special person who has a very special place in my heart. I miss your face and your funny ways.. It's been too many years and I wish I could have seen you one more time before you got sick.. But I will keep my wonderful happy memories I have of you when we were younger and hold them close to my heart with a smile.. Your voice is so beautiful and amazing you have always been divine. It's going to break my heart attending your service but I know it will be a day of celebration for your life. I know you're watching over all of us. I love you dear trish.. Always. Xoxoxox

Experiencing to live under the same roof with you even for just a short while was indeed a privilege for me. You helped me grow in my relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ by being a good example and by inviting me to the "Youth Worship". I know this is not yet goodbye, instead it is see you later. I love you Ate Trish! I miss you and I shall see you soon. :)

My darling Trish, I can't help but cry every time I remember you. My memories with you since you were a baby kept coming back to my memory.I will surely miss you. However, I'm so happy for you because you are now in the presence of our Almighty GOD...the best place to be. I love you my Nanah!

Your presence in our lives has been a blessing to our family as we watched you from your infancy up to this time that you left us. The moments that we all had with you will always be in our memory. We will never forget the wonderful years as we watched you in your quest & desire to have a better life. We will miss you so much Trish! Your lola & I & together with the rest of the family will always remember you. We love you!

I miss you ate Trisha. It's so unfair that we're all still here, a little sad, missing you - while you're probably having the best time right now, sitting at Jesus' feet and and singing and dancing with Him. Trish, my arlington, and my 2nd (but really my 1st) favorite cousin: I miss you so much, my heart aches. I will miss our late night talks in which you would tell me all the family secrets, I will miss our endless convos about Friends, Glee & Greys. I will never forget all the laughs we shared and the inside jokes & secrets we had! You were the closest thing to a sister that I could've ever had, and for that, I love you so much! Godspeed cousin ! <3

Everytime I hear news about you... I cant help but cry. The thought of you makes me weak. I really miss you Trish. Cant stand the words I've been hearing lately like morgue,grave,cremation... I'm still in denial about everything. I was reminded by my brother Kurt to be joyful when he drew this for me the other day while I was crying. He said that you're already in heaven and that you're watching over us. I still cant accept the ugly truth that you're gone... Still in pain. I guess in God's time...I'll be fine. I love you to the moon and back, sanner! I MISS YOU SO MUCH IT HURTS! #RIP :'(

I will always cherish the memories I had with you dear cousin. Growing up with you as a kid was a great experience. You will always have a special place in my heart. I love you Trish!

We express our condolences to Yai and family for the loss of her darling daughter Trish. I am amazed by your unfailing faith to our Lord Jesus Christ and I am sure you have passed this faith to your darling daughter. Trish will surely be missed by many...friends as well as relatives. She was a strong woman, in faith and in character. I am sure the angels of the Lord are rejoicing in welcoming her to our Lord Jesus' fold. Sleep dear Trish and experience no more pain...but enjoy the love of our God forever.
