

Wallace Santos passed away May 5, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital, San Jose, CA. He was born to his parents, Christopher and Emilie Santos, in San Jose, Ca on March 14, 1945. Wally graduated from Santa Clara High School. In high school, he ran track, wrestled, and played football. After high school, he attended West Valley College. Wally was a man of many skills. His skills included roofing, welding, housing construction, superintendent, and finished his career as a Project Manager. Along with his craftsmanship, he had many passions. He was very passionate about his love for horses. He enjoyed riding and showing horses. One of his many accomplishments while he was showing horses was his prize World Champion Halter Horse that he showed at the Appaloosa World Show. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, classic cars, racing pigeons, drawing, sports, and spending time with his family and friends. Most of all he valued and loved his grandchildren. Wally touched the lives of those fortunate to have known him and was a second father and a mentor to many. He was a loving husband to Marilyn Santos and loving father to Stacy, Christopher, and Stephen Santos, and Melissa Longoria and father-in-Law to Crystal Santos and Joffre Longoria. Wally had many brothers and sisters. His brothers are Christopher Santos (deceased), Carl Pritchard, Tommy (deceased), Richard, Frank, William, and David (deceased) Santos, sisters, Sandra Santos and Betty Pena. His brothers and sisters in-law included: Duane Nunes (deceased), Dorleen and Linda Nunes, Linda West, and Mary Santos. Mother and father-in-laws were Andrew and Evelyn Nunes (both deceased). Grandchildren include Rachael Walker, Katlyn, Kelsey, Fallyn Santos, and Sophia, Mila, and Jordan Longoria and many loving nieces and nephews. Wally was very committed to his family and friends and enjoyed the simple things in life. Services are Thursday, May 12, viewing from 5-9 and 7 pm Rosary at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary 466 N. Winchester Blvd Santa Clara, Ca. Friday, May 13 Funeral Service 11 am at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary followed by burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln Street Santa Clara, Ca. Please join the family following the funeral for the Celebration of Life at Harry’s Hofbrau at 1 pm, 390 Saratoga Ave San Jose, Ca.
