Dear Brian and Family, 

I am sorry for your loss.  I remember Curt in a great way.  When you moved from your Marquez home to a “brand-spanking” new one in 1972, I use to hang around him in the driveway.  He would polish that beautiful Jaguar XKE convertible and we would talk about cars.  He was your dad, but was on the level with us kids.  It was always fun to spend time at your house.  The Baer Family was always “grounded”.  Curt know how to run a household.  Sometimes when my world came crashing down, as a kid, I would come over to your house and get stabilized.  Heck, you folks even took me to church now and then.  In the last several years, I use to see Curt driving around town in his red car, flying the flag.  He was always so proud.  That is the way I will remember him.

Curt was a person who worked hard and enthusiastically for what he believed in.  He was a take charge guy who always had a smile on his face.  He was a joy to know, and we are so sorry to hear of his passing.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Baer family. xo Cindy & Bill Simon

Curt was such a kind and considerate man. I enjoyed working side by side with him in the Republican Club. He will be missed by family and friends. Lee, I know this has been a hard few years for you and not at all how you would have hoped to spend your retirement years together. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

No idea he was dealing with serious health issues. Since the L.A. West Trojan Club was disbanded not much contact with Curt the last two years. My heart-
