Dotty and Hav were extremely supportive when I came to the US from Argentina in 1994. I think of them often. My condolences and heavy heart when learning the pass of my ex-wife Susan "Hanikita" Larson,  Dotty's daughter. I will never forget your kindness, your open arms and your beautiful smile.

I spent many happy days at the Larson house as a friend of Susie's and member of Brownie Troop 30. Mrs Larson was our troop leader and I recall her being stern but kind. Have often thought of Susie, she was so smart and beautiful and was so sad to read she had died a short while ago. My condolences and thoughts are with the Larson family at this sad time.

Dotty was a faithful friend and mentor.  Although I live in Peru and didn't see her often, we prayed for each other and her example was so positive for me and many other women here in Peru.  She visited us twice and was our main speaker in 1992 at our National Leadership Conference when I stepped down from being the National Director.  We have kept in contact through all these years and have stayed in each other's home. Dotty was my CBS TD from 1976-86 in Santa Monica.  She inspired me to really get into God's Word and to make It a part of my life.  When my son and I moved to Arlington VA 10 years ago, CBS again became my support group and is still a big part of my life now as a Children's Teacher. Thank you, Lord, for dear Dotty.

Dear Dotty--your impact reached far beyond the walls of the church in Santa Monica that you shared the word of God with women of every age.  A common refrain between my mother and I was "Dotty says...!"  You taught from the word yet brought it down to bite size morsels in such a practical fashion.  I remember you saying once, "The problem with life is that it is so daily." And you taught me doing God's work was cuddling my crying baby not just preaching to a foreign country. And you winked and said, "I think God likes See's Candy, too!!!"
I am forever indebted to you as well as my mom who faithfully studied at your feet for over 40 years.
Thank you!!! I know you are speaking at this moment with the Apostle Paul.  He was your hero and I remember you in tears as you spoke tenderly of him and his life and death.  Now you are walking the streets of gold with him, my mom, your husband, and linking arms with the Savior of the Universe.
