My daughter and I had the privilege knowing Melinda through NCL. She was truly the sweetest person I know. I will cherish our talks and brief moments of laughter i shared with Melinda. She will be greatly missed! We're so sorry for your loss.

Melinda was a strong, independent, and intelligent person who cared passionately about healthcare. She did not hesitate to make her views known and to advocate for those things she thought would improve the provision of healthcare. I had the privilege to have known her, and to have worked with her  when I was the CEO of Hawthorne Community Medical Group. She was a special person and she  improved the lives of many.

I, as others, were blessed to reconnect with you last summer after so many years.  It was so much fun to see you and get re-aquainted!  I am so saddened of your passing, and my prayers go out to your family, especially your daughter, who will feel the absence of such an amazing mother.  I believe that you will be looking after her and guiding her from heaven and hope that she feels your presence throughout her lifetime.  Godspeed, Melinda.

Having the opportunity to reconnect with Melinda after all these years was a blessing. We shared stories about our daughters growing up and our high school years. We never got to have that lunch we were planning. My heart is so heavy by this sad news. Rest in peace sweet lady.

 We have such fond memories of our times spent with you and Melinda at Gary and Sue's house in Ojai.  Melinda had a wonderful gift to light up the room when she arrived and kept a lively conversation going through lunch and beyond. She was a true friend to Sue and will truly be missed.  Melinda and Gary are sure to be in heaven having some great discussions on economics and banking!! Please know that you and Kathryn are in our thoughts and prayers.
