It is with sadness, that our family must announce the calling of Adela Fuerte Magdaleno on February 1, 2018. Adela was born on July 9, 1944 she was 73 years old when the Lord called this vibrant and faithful soul to join her family in heaven.
Adela was born in Santa Paula, California and went to elementary school and high school culminating in graduation in June of 1962. After graduating high school she studied and earned her beauticians license from Ventura Beauty College. She was employed several years at Briggs Lemon Association in Santa Paula and also had been employed in the electronic assembly industry in Carpentaria California.
At the end of 1978 and after the birth of her third child Adela became a full time homemaker. She was first and foremost a family person and caretaker of not just her own children but she always extended her care and love to her nieces and nephews and other extended family. She was selfless and tireless in helping others who needed an advocate or just a hug. Adela had a strong bond with her faith, she was saved, and had always looked to our Lord for comfort and for answers to assist whatever troubles might be afflicting her family or friends.
Adela at the young age of 21 married her first husband Jess Campos in early 60’s and although this union was not one made in heaven it did bear fruit in the birth of Adela’s first born child Daniel. Soon after the dissolution of her first marriage, Adela met and married her true love, Carlos M. Magdaleno on August 14th, 1970. He would forever be her champion, her warrior protector and father to all of her children. This marriage between Adela and Carlos was truly blessed by God and was fruitful with the births of their children David, Carlos S., Dina and Arlene. Adela and Carlos would have celebrated 48 years of marriage this August 14th, 2018.
Adela is preceded in death by her Father Librado Fuerte, Mother Naomi Bustamante, brothers Arnulfo Fuerte, Rudy Fuerte, sisters Rita Fuerte, Sally Pacheco, mother-in-law Amelia Magdaleno and father-in-law Ignacio Magdaleno.
