Dolores Estelle Howard

Dolores Howard went home to be with the Lord Sept. 28 due to cardiac arrest followed by a car accident. She was born Apr. 7, 1930 to Sanger and Lennie Cooper. Dolores was a lifetime resident of Ventura County. She graduated from Santa Paula High School in 1948 and was employed at Citizens State Bank for more than 30 years. Dolores was married to Fred Howard for 64 years and had one son, Michael. She is survived by her husband Fred, her sister Betty Samples, daughter in law Jackie and Dean Stines, granddaughter Jessica Henderson, 2 great grandchildren, Jessie Dean and Paetyn, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Grant and her son Michael in 1981.

Viewing will be at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary on Monday, October 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Santa Paula Cemetery at 11:00.
