Anna Sielski 88, of Bradenton Florida, formerly Franklin Lakes New Jersey, passed away in her sleep February 27, 2018.
Anna was born November 6, 1929, in NYC NY. She was an only child to Pio and Caterina Ambrosini. Anna was a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, majoring in Fashion Design. She took her talents to several companies designing clothes , in her later career she worked at The Children's Place as their Head Pattern Maker. Anna was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling. She spent over 35 years summer vacationing in her second home in Losone Switzerland. She shared this treasured place with her husband John for many years. Until the passing of her mother Caterina, she enjoyed speaking a dialect of Italian, and savored the cooking of northern Italian cuisine. Anna was also an avid tennis fan and later in her years spent many lazy warm Florida days on the golf course. Anna is survived by her husband of 62 years John Sielski:,her three children, Lisa Murray, Lori Sielski-Ball, Kenneth Sielski and her four grandchildren Ryan Murray, Kylie Murray, Alex Ball and Matthew Ball. Viewing is scheduled to take place Sunday March 4,2018 at 4:00, at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home( 7454 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota Florida, 34231.) A mass will be held at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church on Monday March 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.(833 Magellan Drive Sarasota, Florida 34243) As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Support Groups.
