Conrad Kunz, 94, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL passed away on Aug. 16, 2015. He was the former owner of Palmer Plaza Liquors; a lifetime member of the Elks Club, Blue Island, IL and veteran of WWII (Century Combat Club). Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Shirley M. Kunz; son John of Sarasota and his cats Princess and Bandit. He was preceded in death by his daughter Marlene Marie. Conrad was a kind, considerate, gentleman and will be missed by all that knew him. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, Aug. 28 at the Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner’s Children Hospital.
