He is survived by his 2 daughters, Samantha Knight (Phillip) of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Amy Van Ryzin (Andrew) of Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren, Elliott, Jillian and Evan; siblings, Debra (Jim) Cox and Donyvan (Sherry) Wait. He is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews from Rhode Island and Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Pauline Wait as well as his brothers Douglas and Darryl Wait.
Danny leaves behind many close friends from all over. His smile, sense of humor, and caring heart drew people to him. He is well known for his whirlpool family pool parties and cutting a rug to his favorite, Steely Dan’s ‘My Old School’.
