Marie Rigali, 93, passed away Friday October 7, 2016 at Tidewell Hospice in Venice fl. Marie was born August 10, 1923 in Padua, Italy to Giovanni and Erminia Zaniolo. She moved to Chicago Illinois when she was 7 years old. Chicago became her home and she grew up, worked , married, and raised her family there. Her love for her birthplace never faded and a highlight of her life was when she visited family in Italy with her husband, John. Life for Marie centered around Faith, family, and friends. She was caring and generous to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Joseph. She is survived by her sister, Audrey (Edward) Rumsas, two sons; John( Cathy) and Tom (Amy), five grandchildren; Michael(Caitlin),Mary Elizabeth(Jonathan), David, Peter, and Sarah, two great grandchildren; Eloise and Lucas, three nephews; Edward Rumsas, Michael Madda, and Joseph Madda Services will be Saturday 10/15/2016 at St. Giles Church, Oak Park, Il. Visitation at 915am followed by Memorial Prayer Service.
