Marty Bacon, 94, of Sarasota, Florida died Jan. 25, 2015. She was a graduate of Cambridge, MD High School in 1937. She was a member of St. Boniface Episcopal Church, Sarasota Sailing Squadron, Sarasota Garden Club and the St. Boniface Altar Guild. Her hobbies include Christmas Ornaments for St. Boniface Fair and playing bridge. She married her late husband Edward N. Bacon, Jr. Oct. 6, 1942 and he preceded her in death in August 2000. She is survived by her sons, Gregory A. Bacon and Edward F. Bacon; granddaughter Christina (Tina) Jo Bacon Krebs; grandson David G. Bacon, great-grandaughters Anna Krebs, Avery Bacon, Ashlyn Bacon; great-grandsons Jonah Krebs, and Zachary Bacon. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 30th at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 31, at St. Boniface Episcopal Church on Siesta Key. Burial will be at Sarasota Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Boniface Episcopal Church.
