The peaceful passing of Ida occurred on Tuesday February 7, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Home in Saskatoon. Ida is survived by her daughter Noreen, son Glen (Debbie) and daughter Marietta (Ken); 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Also surviving Ida are many nieces and nephews; and 2 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law all on the Zerr side of the family. Ida was predeceased by her husband Emil and son Elvin. She was the last surviving member of JJ and Matilda Weninger’s family. Our family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the Sisters of St. Joseph’s and the staff of St. Joseph’s Home for their compassionate and loving care of Ida throughout her stay. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday February 16, 2023 at The Cathedral of the Holy Family (123 Nelson Road Saskatoon).
