Allison Rene Mack

March 19, 1986 – September 12, 2026

Allison was born in Regina one day before her parents’ 1st Anniversary. A gift we celebrate every year.

With every move her parents made, she made new and everlasting friendships. Darcie in Davidson, Holly and Leanne in Langham and Erin in Saskatoon. Through her work, her coworkers also became close friends. They became her soul sisters.

Ally loved being Dominic’s mom and was so devoted to him. And her beloved pets Max and Mikey helped her through many painful days.

Her struggles with colitis at a young age, then cancer came to a head August 31, 2023, with her first major surgery till her last life changing surgery May of this year.

She was so grateful for every text, every visit, the flowers and the gifts from each special person – family, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Allison had a full month in the palliative care unit at St. Paul’s hospital. Every day she would thank the doctors and nurses for making her day. They filled her final days with love and compassion and always gave her final say on her journey.

She leaves behind her son Dominic, the love of her life; partner Jason Barry. Parents Vern and Cindy Mack, mother-in-law Deborah Barry, brother Shaun and Kim and sister-in-law Ashley and Graham. As well as her pets Max and Mikey.

A Celebration of Ally’s life will be October 24, 2026, at the Rugby Bar & Grill (134 English Crescent) from 2pm to 6pm. It’s a party! Wear a witch costume or your Rider green (the game will be on). Bring stories and laughter. Wings, fries, salad and ribs will be supplied. Buy your own alcohol drinks.
