Amber, I love you and I miss you. You were the closest  friend.  I was blessed to see you and enjoy your presence the week before you passed. I can’t wait to see you again.

Amber-you were a true gem. You were patient and kind, funny and gentle, and so very authentic. (All qualities I strive to grow in myself and you exemplified them in every interaction we had.)
I always found it very peaceful to be in your presence. I enjoyed our chats over coffee and was always blessed when I was on the receiving end of your hospitality.

Your passing has left a hole in many lives. You are loved and greatly missed.

Amber, the time we had with you was too short. I also took for granted that I would have more time. Your quiet and peaceful demeanour was a comfort to me, and your strong faith and gentleness with your sons was so wonderful to witness. Your smile was stunning and as I look at your pictures, it seems you never took a bad one. 

A contradiction at times; loved to be in the country and outside of the city. Yet loved to indulge in your  $30 Christian Dior mascara and Chanel makeup. You liked Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop as much as taking the Hindmarch family dog for a walk. 
I believe your favourite things to do were take a walk in the country, sip a coffee on the deck, or just read a good book.  We often talked about the current book we were reading and you were  the one to introduce me to some of my favourite series, including the Earth Child series by Jean Auel.

We met almost 22 years ago at bible college and have had the pleasure of “growing up” together. Meeting our future husbands, going through education and careers, and the ultimate joy of welcoming our sons into the world. We especially bonded over our sons’ age gaps. 

My heart aches and hurts and misses you already. I long for the day I see you again… someday, in paradise. You are such a treasure and there is no one quite like you. I love you Amber Jane.

Amber, you were a best friend. You were the kind of friend one does not find easily. We had
known each other for so long. I took for granted that I would see you again.

You were a beautiful person: genuine, kind, thoughtful, sincere, and comforting. You had a gift of making people feel included, loved and welcome.

Your genuine faith was evident in the way you loved your family, the way you treated others,
and put others before yourself.

I will always hold close to my heart the many memories we shared together. You will be missed by the many lives you touched.

I met Amber when I was 18 years old in Bible college and stayed good friends with her throughout the years.  I have so many fond memories of Amber that I feel that I could write a book about our journeys. Amber lived life fully and would take the lead on planning out our many  fun girls trips. I was blessed to travel with Amber to several places including, Disney world, Bahamas cruise, Caribbean cruise and an epic adventure to Banff/lake Louise and white water rafting in BC.  I want to further highlight how beautiful Amber was, inside and out. She was humble, kind, generous, and loving. I will deeply cherish the memory of hanging out with Amber on June 1st,  enjoying drinking vanilla iced coffees together.  I am grateful that I have so many wonderful and good  memories to cherish of Amber. 

I don’t have adequate words to express the sympathy  I’d like to extend to Amber’s family. I found her to be such a wonderful person, though I was only able to have occasional visits with her and my cousin Brendan over the last 17 years. I was always impressed by what a grounded, lovely person she was. I am glad of the happiness she had with her sisters, parents, loving husband and beautiful cherished boys. My heart aches with you all.

I was deeply sorry to hear the news of Amber’s passing. I got to know Amber because we were both bridesmaids at our friend’s wedding, and at moms group. Amber was a beautiful, kind, sweet and peaceful person :) I will remember the deep love she had for her family. My sincere condolences to the family.

I was so sad to hear about this. Amber was a beautiful soul. She may have been in my older sisters grade in school but she was always incredibly kind to me. The world has just a little more grey in it today. My deepest sympathies for her Family. Her bright light will be missed.

Doug & Cynthia, Erin, Andrea & Brooke, Brendan & family, I am so sorry for your loss. Amber and I hadn’t been in touch over the last few years but I count her one of my dearest camp friends. The first summer that I was a CIT at camp she was the counsellor I was paired up with and we became fast friends. She was so kind, so caring, so genuine.  I have countless wonderful memories of her and I’m just so sorry for your unimaginable loss.
