Anthony Paul Green

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Anthony Green, also referred to as Shady, in Saskatoon at the age of 41. Anthony was loved by many and his spirit lives on through his daughter Danielle and his parents Amber and Lee.

Anthony is survived by his Daughter Danielle Mah, Parents Amber and Lee, Grandparents Bob and Linda, Uncle Leon (Vicky), Auntie Leah (Barry), Auntie Chelan, Uncle Mitch and cousins Brent, Tara, Dalyn, Brooklyn, LeeAnn and Charles.

Anthony’s beautiful soul was welcomed Home too soon by his grandparents Faye and Louis, Auntie Velvet and Uncle Blair.

Anthony was born in Saskatoon on October 5, 1980. He grew up involved in numerous sports and activities. In school, he was known for his witty and charming personality, never afraid to make you laugh. He made friends effortlessly, a quality he continued to carry throughout his life. Anthony worked as a carny, a dishwasher/cook at the Wash' n Slosh and as a floor installer. In his later years he became an entrepreneur. Anthony graduated from high school in 2001. Soon after, at age 21, he became a father to his daughter Danielle. Anthony was a family man; he spent his years as a father figure to Noah & Christian (Mom Gabriel Mah) and Kyle & Ayden (Mom Tanya Beauchamp).

Anthony was a man of many passions; he enjoyed the finer things in life. He enjoyed collecting pieces of gold, diamonds and stones and unique vehicles. He also enjoyed the art of growing and sharing his plants, always showing his master “Green” thumb.

Anthony did everything he could to make people smile whether it was grabbing a tab, paying it forward at Tim Hortons, a warm hug in a dark time, a smoke to a struggling homeless person and he could be counted on to brighten a day. Anthony will be greatly missed for his soft heart, listening ears, generosity, great sense of humour and wild spirit. We ask that people continue to make the world shine brighter in his honour, just as he did.
