Archer Émile Turcotte, 4 months old, of Saskatoon passed away on Thursday February 1, 2024 at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital. Archer was born two months prematurely on September 21, 2023 to his adoring parents, Amy and Sébastien Turcotte. He spent 8 weeks in the NICU and then was taken home.
Archer was not on this Earth long, but he touched so many hearts. His smile was infectious and his resilience through all the trials and tribulations he faced was admirable. He went through more than any individual should ever have to endure especially at such a young age. He showed how brave and strong he was by facing these challenges and even doing more than what he was thought capable of. He was the most beautiful, big-eyed boy who was a feisty little fighter. He brought so much joy and love to those that had the privilege of meeting him and in return was greatly loved and adored by his family.
He is survived by his parents (Amy and Sébastien), his grandparents (Tim & Anita Leniuk, Neil Turcotte and Nathalie Ruel), aunties and uncles (Megan and Layken Heidt, Matthew Leniuk, Eric Turcotte) and his cousins (Tucker and Caleb Heidt). Archer has gained his wings and will forever remain in the hearts of his family and those that knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St. Anne’s Parish (217 Lenore Drive, Saskatoon).
