Armella was born in the Cudworth district and attended St. Cunigunda country school, as well as the Cudworth High School. She graduated from St. Ursula’s Academy in Bruno, and completed a secretarial training course in Saskatoon. On October 11, 1961 Armella married Roman Wiesensel and became a farmer’s wife. She also worked at St. Michael’s Hospital, and as a medical secretary at the Cudworth Medical Clinic. She continued to further her education and became a Medical Records Technician before moving to Saskatoon in 1975, where she was employed in Medical Institutes. Armella did volunteer Pastoral Care, and she hosted prayer groups in her home. With friends, she travelled to the Holy Land and went several times to Medjugorge. Armella and Roman loved to go camping and fishing. In October 2011 they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a party for friends and family. She was predeceased by her parents, Martin and Mary (Medernach) Jungwirth; brother Tony Jungwirth; sister Laura O’Rourke; brothers-in-law Richard Hodge and Jim Carswell; sisters-in-law Ruby Jungwirth and Georgina Robb. Armella is survived by her husband Roman Weisensel; sisters, Hilda (Henry) Pelletier, Elizabeth Carswell, Mary Ann (Lawrence) Pelletier; brothers Matthew (Isabel) Jungwirth, Henry (Bernie) Jungwirth, Martin (Charlotte) Jungwirth, Joseph (Kathy) Jungwirth, Edward Jungwith and Francis (Sharon) Jungwirth. The Vigil for Armella will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, with both services at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Saskatoon.
