It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Aurore Hamonic. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Hamonic, her infant son Richard Hamonic, her parents Henri and Florida Mahussier, sisters Rita Carfantan, Marie Coquet and Florence Coquet and brothers Tony Mahussier and Louis Mahussier, her parents-in-law, Jules and Germaine Hamonic, brothers-in-law Denis Hamonic, Gerard Hamonic, Edouard Hamonic, Gerry Vaillancourt, Pat Hagel, Paul Coquet, Don Coquet, Fred Carfantan and Harry Pitzel and sisters-in-law Louise Mahussier and Maureen Hamonic.
She is survived by her children Regis Hamonic (Rachel Jones), Lise Hamonic and Roger Hamonic (Wendy), her grandchildren Amanda Rekdale (Ben), Garrett Hamonic, Mindy Vanderwal (Mike), Brennan Mills (Amanda), Jordon Mills (Kim), Aidan Cameron (Kristin) and Justin Cameron (Sara) and her great-grandchildren Lachlan, Jeremy, Kendal, Landon, Declan, Finn, Lucy, Owen, Gavin, Caleb, Emery, Emilia, and Ava, her sisters Ivone Hagel and Henriette Pitzel, her brother Albert Mahussier (Betty) and her sisters-in-law Lorette Vaillancourt, Evelyn Hamonic, Johanne Hamonic and Theresa Mahussier and too many nieces and nephews to name as well as many, many dear friends.
Mom was a wonderful mother, an amazing grandmother, devoted great grandmother and a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
Please join us in celebrating the lives of our parents, Lionel and Aurore Hamonic. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 21, 2023 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church (217 Lenore Drive Saskatoon).
