It is with great pain we announce the passing of Calvin Wayne Heilman. Calvin was born July 2nd, 1979 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. Calvin spent most of his life growing up in Saskatoon. As a child he could be found cruising the neighborhood on his bmx, playing shinny, or his dad’s sidekick in the garage. Over the years Calvin spent his life working as a tow truck owner/operator, driving semi, doing home repairs, and a general mechanic. Calvin was never hesitant to lend a helping hand to his family, friends, or stock car racing community. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, playing ball and hockey.
Calvin is survived by his mom Bernice (Jerry) Nordquist. His siblings: Kimberley Heilman, Kayla (Dayten) Van Meesen, Karla Nordquist (David), Gerri-Lynn King, Josh (Dyan) Nordquist. His children, who were his pride and joy: Tanisha Smood, Cale Heilman, Leeland Heilman, and Kaiya Bell. Along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and family members.
Calvin was predeceased by his dad Gerald Heilman, sister Tammara Heilman, and grandparents Tena and Searle Heilman.
May the radiance and beauty of their lives not be defined by their death
