Pat passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care on November 9, 2011 with her daughters by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years Larry on September 28, 2011. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children Marilyn Clark (Ed), Judy Sikorski (Ed) and Janice Boire (Gary Henschel); as well as grandchildren, Tim, Erin, and Kevin Clark (Ashley), Chrisa Farrell (Shaun), Mark Sikorski (Kelly), Chris Boire (Laura) and Shondra Prochera. Pat was predeceased by her parents Mary and Emil Johnson, sisters Vivian and Ila, and brothers Laverne, Merle and Bill. Pat was born in Macrorie, SK in 1919 and moved to Saskatoon in 1936 where she lived the rest of her life. In 1945 she met Larry, the love of her life and they married in 1946. Mom's family was everything to her. Her love for her family could be seen in all she did whether it was babysitting, attending school activities, sports, music recitals or cooking special treats. She loved spending special moments at the cabin with the family doing things such as planting trees, bird watching, picking rocks, and teaching us how to rock paint. No request was too big or too small. Mom was an accomplished artist having been a student of Ernest Lindner a fact that she was proud of. Mom was a humble, kind, gentle person with the most giving heart, beautiful smile and faithful soul. She left footprints on our hearts and we will miss her terribly. Heartfelt thanks to all the Palliative Care Angels for their kind and gentle care. A Memorial Service will be held at Acadia-McKague's Funeral Centre on Saturday, November 12,, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 101 - 440 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2C3 would be appreciated.
