Cathy Sagansky

September 20, 1943 – January 27, 2016

Cathy Sagansky of Krydor, SK, formerly of Cudworth, SK, passed away peacefully at Rosthern Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is loved and remembered by her husband of 21 years, Tony; sisters, Mickey (Orest) Chernesky, Pauline Rohachuk, Anne Rohachuk, Mary Nowicki and Stephanie (Don) Brian; brother, Ed Schewaga; in-laws, Sylvia Schewaga, Joyce Schewaga, Verna Sagansky and Merv Sagansky; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Annie Schewaga; sisters, Olga (Oli) Anda, Elizabeth (Matt) Lesiuk and Mary Schewaga; brothers, Johnny, Orest, Matt (Nellie) and Alex (Emily); and brothers-in-law, Harold Rohachuk, Mike Rohachuk and Mike Nowicki. The family would like to thank Rosthern Hospital and the Doctors and nurses for the great care Cathy received. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosthern Hospital Fund (Box 88, Rosthern, SK S0K 3R0). The Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 1st at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St, off Warman Rd).
