Claude was born in Willow Bunch, SK on September 30, 1958. He is predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Vivian, and sister Pauline. He is survived by his wife Shelley (Lawrick); children Lyndon (Carrie) St. Yves, Raven (Chris) Thomas; and his grandchildren Maximus, Keeva, and Myles. He is also survived by his sisters Rita, Julie (Buddy), Claudette (Shayne), Diane (Richard), Aline, Paulette; brothers Paul (Karen), Denis (Anne), Guy (Rhonda); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Claude was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He spent most of his years as a long-haul truck driver, traveling the roads all over North America. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and fix vehicles. He had a knack for being able to fix anything. He was a very caring man and was always there to help others when needed. When he wasn’t having coffee or telling a joke, he was busy entertaining and playing with his three grandchildren. The grandchildren adored their “papa”. They were the apple of his eye. His memory will be cherished and will continue to live on through them, and the rest of the family.
There will be a Celebration of Claude’s Life on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the RCAF Lynx Wing, ASTRA Hall (2407 Avenue C North, Saskatoon, SK). If you would like to donate in his memory, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
