Hank was known for his active lifestyle and love for outdoor activities. In the summer, he enjoyed golfing and windsurfing, while in the winter, he loved bowling and traveling. His dedication to staying active and his adventurous spirit were evident to all who knew him. Hank had a deep love for life and for learning. Regardless of the topic, Hank always had an inquisitive mind that sought to understand everything to its fullest.
Hank’s positive attitude was an amazing sight in the last few years as he battled cancer. He courageously faced the illness and was in remission for seven years before it returned. Despite the many challenges, Hank always managed to stay happy; and when asked how he was doing, he would always find something positive to say. Hank’s incredible demonstration of grace and dignity during this time was an inspiration to all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on the 3rd and 6th floors of RUH Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Bosch, who helped Hank so much all these years.
