Dallas was predeceased by his mother: Paulette Thingvold (2016) and Grandparents.

Dallas came into the world on his Grandfather's birthday and Grey Cup Sunday. From that day forward he always had a big presence. Dal made friends wherever he went due to his caring nature and great sense of humour. Dal was happy, kind, funny, sarcastic and loved his family. He also loved his sports, music, laughs and time spent up at the lake camping and boating. His sons remember fishing and getting whipped behind the boat on a tube until we went flailing into the water. Anyone who knew Dallas knew how much he loved his treats, especially sharing the joy of making them with his boys. We spent many weekends baking together from a young age, with chocolate chip cookies always being a favourite.

Dal was an over achiever from a young age, achieving a math scholarship in junior high, excelling at baseball, football, completing the 4th year apprenticeship program for an Electrician by the age of 21. Since then you could catch Dallas in the Electrical trade earning the respect of those who worked around him from his skills and great work ethic. His extensive knowledge and the way he shared it always landed him in leadership rolls wherever he chose to work. If you had a problem and needed a hand Dal was the one you could call on to be there to help you solve it. He was very respected man in his trade and he will truly be missed.

Above all Dallas will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend. He will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
