Mrs. Deborah Lynn (Longstaff) Pryor

Deborah passed away July 16, 2026. She was born September 5, 1961 to Mary (Edinburgh) and Richard Longstaff. She married her husband Larry in 1983 and moved to the Pryor family farm welcoming their precious daughter Meghan in 1989. Her granddaughter Chloe was born in 2009 and was the shining star in her Universe.

Deborah worked as an EA for Dundurn and Hanley School and later for the Town of Dundurn and the RM of Dundurn. Traveling was important to Deborah, whether it was camping in Saskatchewan or visiting numerous countries, especially Scotland. Mum's Scottish heritage influenced Deborah and Heather growing up. Many cups of tea were shared over stories of Mom growing up in Edinburgh. When Dad passed away in 1989 Deborah cared for Mum at her home till her passing. Meghan was born during that time and brought much needed joy to the home.

Deborah was happiest when she was with her family. She was so proud of Meghan and Chloe. They were and continue to be cast in Sterling Production Musical Plays in Regina. It was important that we attend every performance. Regardless of her health she was optimistic about the future. She made the very best of life and had plans to attend the upcoming Sterling Production musical performance Shrek in August. She will be dearly missed by pets Millie, Magoo and Heather's Service Dog, Chelsea (who absolutely adored her).

She was thankful for the assistance provided by family. A special thank you to her closest friend, Sky Pryor, for providing her with loving care. Deborah was able to maintain her relations with friends over social media and treasured the conversations.

Deborah was predeceased by her Mum and Dad, Mary and Richard Longstaff, in-laws, Ruby and Mannie Pryor, brother-in-law Grant Pryor and half-sister Anne (England). The family would like to thank her family doctor, Dr. Wright, for providing exceptional health care and also to Mourning Glory - Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel, entrusted with Deborah's funeral arrangements. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 24 at Mourning Glory - Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon. Interment will follow at Dundurn Hillside Cemetery.
