Mrs. Denise Annette Seright

Denise will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Gordon; her sons, Jason (Natasha) and Floyd; and her daughter, Colleen (Pete). She was a cherished grandmother to Phillip (Kayla), Jordan (Lewis), Jamie, Jeremy, Serena, Brooklynn, and Sofia, and a beloved great-grandmother to Beau, Bella, Cedar, and Augustus.

She is also survived by her siblings, Emma (Leon), Bernice (Gordon), Suzanne, Aurelle (Shirley), Diane (James), and Paul; sisters-in-law Bernice, Gloria (Isadore), and Jane; brothers-in-law David, Jim (Marian), Gerry, and Ernest; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Denise was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Phillip Aubichon; her sister, Simone; her brother, Russell; and her brother-in-law, Peter. She was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Charlie, Tommy, Johnny, and Sigfred, and her sisters-in-law Mabel, Hazel, Jessie, Sadie, and Eileen.

Denise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was always at the heart of her life. She loved Gordon and her family deeply, and her caring nature, kind heart, and playful spirit brought warmth, comfort, and joy to everyone around her.

She found happiness in life's simple pleasures, especially tending to her yard and beautiful flowers, baking, road trips, camping, and travelling. She treasured her trips to Hawaii and Cuba and held dear the many special memories she created with her grandchildren and family. Her love, laughter, wisdom, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the care aides, nurses, and doctors at the Île-à-la-Crosse Long Term Care Home. The compassion, dedication, and exceptional care they provided to Denise went above and beyond. Their kindness and support brought great comfort to both Denise and her family, and for this they will always be deeply grateful.

Though she is no longer with us, Denise's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A Celebration of Denise’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at St. Joseph's Health Facility, Île-à-la-Crosse, Saskatchewan.
