Don was born in Windsor, Nova Scotia. He lived in Windsor, Dartmouth, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Amherst, Halifax and Toronto, settling back in Saskatoon for his final years.
Don had numerous careers in education and health care, always wanting to learn more. He was a kind and generous man, living life to the fullest.
Don is survived by his stepson, Joshua Hayward, three grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as five brothers. He was predeceased by his wife, Sandi, as well as his parents.
Burial will occur in Dartmouth, NS at a later date.
