Donald Norris

1947 - 2017

It is with great sorrow that we mark the passing of Don Norris, husband to Susan, father to Ben & Adam, brother to Sharon and friend to many. Don was born in Moose Jaw in 1947. It was there that he would meet the love of his life. They were married soon after and eventually came to settle in Saskatoon, where they would later welcome two boys to their family. A devoted family man and father, Don shared his boundless patience, generosity, selflessness and caring heart with everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his steady understanding, his quiet strength and integrity, his passion for antique cars and love of books. His legacy lives on in his children to whom he gave so much. He will be profoundly missed. May he rest in peace. A Viewing will take place from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Mourning Glory Funeral Services (1201 – 8th St. E.) on Sunday, November 5 with a reception to follow. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Saskatoon.
