On Monday, November 24th, the family is saddened to announce, the sudden passing of Don H. Sthamann at his cabin at Parr Hill Lake. Don is survived by his wife of 53 years, Henrietta; four children, Debbie (Joe) Kozakewich of Kamsack, Donna (Jim) Symynuk of Saskatoon, Donald (Michele) Sthamann of Prince Albert, and Diana (Michael) Smood of Saskatoon; step-son, Dan L'Heureux of Regina; grandchildren, Stephen (Mariah) Kozakewich and Bailey and Casey of Yorkton, Robert Kozakewich of Canora, Amanda and Melissa Symynuk of Saskatoon, Stephanie Symynuk of Halifax, Anthony Paydli of Saskatoon, Lindsay and Nicole Sthamann of Saskatoon, Hannah, Sophie, Olivia and Nicholas Smood of Saskatoon, Jenna, Zoe and Kaiden L'Heureux; four siblings, Dorothy Craik of Moose Jaw, Edith Morley of Yorkton, Ellen Glennie of BC, Dan McConnell of Saskatoon. Don served with the PPCLI from December 1957 to December 1960. He worked for the Massey Ferguson Dealership for over 40 years in Saskatoon. Dad loved to be at his cabin with his family. He really loved his hunting, fishing, cutting "cords" of wood and quading in the forest. He did numerous building and wood working projects along with his works of art out of metal. One of his greatest joys was his annual hunt at Parr Hill with the "boys" and the many stories that were told. Special thanks to Donald, Joe, Micheal and Robert for being at dad's side with his passing. To Dereck Wolkowski for all of his assistance at Parr Hill. And to all of his hunting partners, both family and friends, over all the years.
