Donna was born on April 9, 1954, in Calais, Maine. Donna was raised in New Brunswick, Canada. In her early thirties, she moved to Saskatchewan, where she made her home in both Regina and Saskatoon for the remainder of her life.
Donna enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry before taking a bold step in 2008 to launch her own auto finance business, Elite F&I. Her dynamic personality, sharp business acumen, and genuine warmth were instrumental to her success as an entrepreneur. She was admired by many for her energy, resilience and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
A lifelong animal lover, Donna had a deep compassion for all creatures and was a strong advocate for animal welfare. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to organizations close to her heart:

Donna is survived by her devoted husband Wade Prokopchuk; her son Gregory (Whitney) Gunn; her grandchildren: Cody (Ashley), Payden, Jaxon McKenzie, and Aliyah (Kai); her great-grandson Greg; her sister Debra Nicolosi; her nieces Tracy Loder and Wendy Gregory and their families; and her sisters-in-law Hazel Campbell and Patti Pollock.
She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, entrepreneurial drive and boundless love for her family and animals. Her presence brought light and laughter to those around her, and she will be deeply missed.
