George Edmund Sparrow passed away suddenly at home on July 14, 2020. Ed was born on July 9, 1947. He was a spiritual person and a brilliant conversationalist who could discuss any subject with you at length. He loved all animals especially big cats. Ed was a Mac man all the way. He had an amazing knowledge of the city of Saskatoon streets and addresses – he could tell you any address and the cross street too. He loved to read car and photography magazines, Popular Mechanics, and subscribed to the theory not to throw anything away, as he might need it tomorrow. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Vi and Ken Sparrow and siblings Robert Sparrow (Iris) and Elizabeth Saunders (Stuart). Left to feel the loss are siblings Ada Stilling (Bud), Donald Sparrow (Peggy), Kathi Gelowitz and Lori Heikoop (Martin). There will be a family gathering at a later date.
