

Edward Cooper of Saskatoon, SK passed away peacefully at home early Saturday morning, February 7th, 2015. He is predeceased by his wife, Lenore (nee Mann), daughter-in-law, Lori Cooper, and parents George and Albina Cooper. Left to cherish Edwards memory are his eight children, Kenton (RoseAnne) Cooper, Karen Denluck, Sharon Cooper, Douglas Cooper, Bradley (Jacqueline) Cooper, Della (William) Webster, Rev. Fr. Gerard Cooper, and Neil (Lisa) Cooper. Edward will also be greatly missed by his eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Edward was born on July 1st, 1932 in North Battleford SK. It was there he met and married Lenore on July 23rd, 1957. Together they carved a home and family in Saskatoon. he was a devoted father, husband, and provider. While work and family life occupied most of Edwards time, his other passion was sports. In his earlier years he was very active playing, coaching and officiating at various sports. Later he grew to love golfing and could often be found on the golf course with his twin brother Vic. A devoted Leafs and Bluejay fan, Edwards enthusiasm for all things, sports will be missed. The Vigil for Edward will be held on Monday, February 9th, 2015 at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christain Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 10th, 2015 at 11:00 am. Both services to take place at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Parish 222 Willow Street Saskatoon, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Gerard Cooper, and Con-Celebrants Monsignor Raymond Senger and Rev. Fr. Nestor Gregoire OMI. Rite of Committal will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services David Schurr
