Eileen Trotchie

For 62 wonderful years, Eileen shared her life with her beloved partner Larry “Mann” Whiteford. Together they built a family rooted in love, resilience, and faith. She was the proud and devoted mother of Lori (Barry), Carl (Cheryl), Shauna (Michael), and Rodney (Jocelyn).

Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren: Lori’s Children: Melissa, Jordan (Beverly), Bradley (Kate), Trayton (Nadine). Carl’s children: Talia (Tristen), Tristan (Madison), Ty, Taneeka. Shauna’s children: Ervin, Shayla, Evan, Shilah, Trinity, and Rodney’s child: D’lilah, and her great-grandchildren: Melissa’s son: Tyler. Jordan’s children: Isaac, Neko, Weston, and stepchildren Matthew, Bryanna and Trenton (Rachel). Bradley’s son: Noah and stepchildren Isaiah and Ariah. And great-great grandchildren Cassius and Remi, Trenton’s children. She cherished each of them and always reminded them how deeply loved they were.

Eileen is also survived by her sisters Edith Laboucane and Gladys Trotchie, Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Stanley. Along with many other family members and dear friends, too numerous to mention but each held close in her heart.

Eileen is predeceased by her parents Mary and Alexander Trotchie, brother Roger and sister Louise. Though gone before her, their memory lived strong in her spirit.

A devoted Catholic and proud Métis, Eileen’s faith guided her throughout her life. She loved her family tremendously, and her home was always filled with warmth, care, and laughter. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at St. George’s Hall on Saturday, September 13th, 2025. All are welcome to join the family in celebrating Eileen’s remarkable life.
